Lastly Ms Feilding has ha handy tip for storing shoes out of season. She puts a label on the each end of a shoe box, one with Summer and one with Winter written on the label. In summer she stores her winter shoes in the boxes with the label marked Winter visible, and in winter she turns the boxes around and stores her Summer shoes with the label marked summer visible. |

In case this happens to you over Christmas - to remove candle wax from carpet, use brown paper then iron over the brown paper where the candle wax has spilled. The iron melts the wax and it will stick to the brown paper, that hint was was Bert Todd |

This handy hint was sent in by Tony Church - Use a car wash product to clean your windows. Just use as if you are washing your car. Wet the window, apply with a house washing brush or car wash brush, then hose off. This method also seems to remove pollen and brighten the aluminum. |

Bella Packer says One way you can clean your BBQ grill rack is with aluminum foil. Wrap the rack in foil and turn on the grill for about 30 minutes or so with the lid on. This should help cooked-on food come off with ease. You can even use the aluminum foil to crumple up and scrape off the ash from the rack. |

Angelina Brown uses extra virgin olive oil to remove bugs from her windscreen. Soak the rag in the olive oil, and then wipe away using a circular motion. After you have done this, you may need to wash your windshields |

Josie White sent us this tip-If you want to protect the new growth in your garden, cut the bottoms off of clear two-litre bottles to create individual covers for your plants. Stick the covers over the plants with the cap removed and the bottle will keep the heat from the sun in while letting in enough air for the plant to thrive. |

Petunia Lee sent these hints in on the many ways she uses Vinegar:
- Clean your spectacles with water to which a splash of vinegar has been added.
- Keep drains odour free by pouring 1/2 a cup of vinegar down them each week
- Clean your finger nails with white vinegar before applying polish. It will go on more easily and stay on longer.
- Use vinegar to polish the chrome on your car.
