When travelling by plane Joan Arnold ties a bright scarf or piece of rag to the handle of her suitcase. That way when it comes into the baggage claim area it is easy to spot and for easy movement of zips of pants T-shirts and Bags etc., or any zips, rub the candle on both sides of the zip teeth.

Nicole Hirini sent these tips she uses for her glasses - Clean lenses with soapy water or a drop of vinegar, vodka or surgical spirit. To prevent scratches, do not rub plastic lenses until you've rinsed off all the dirt. If your glasses fog up when you come in from the cold, just rub a thin coat of soap on the lenses. Then polish them until clear. This technique provides instant waterproofing.
