Margaret Mainwaring has a laundry tip to keep matching socks together- Get some safety pins and keep them next to the washing machine for your socks .Pin the toes of the socks together so you save time matching them up after the laundry process. |

To keep your washing machine new, every few months fill the machine with warm water and a pint of vinegar. Margaret Smith wrote that this will clean out the hoses and stop clogging. |

Marge Roberts sent in these laundry tips- To remove perspiration stains add 2 aspirins to the final rinsing water in the washing machine, and to make new tea towels more absorbent, soak them in a little cold water with some Epsom salts. |

To clean the inside of your iron fill with equal parts of vinegar and water. Allow the iron to sit and steam for about two minutes then rinse thoroughly. |
